UMP-M4
UMP measurement system with 4 channels

The MBOX UMP-M4 is a measurement system for analogue voltage, which can be operated with
other equipments or standalone, configuration provided.

The MBOX has 4 separate input channels to connect up to 4 sensors with unipolar sensor supply +5V or 12V.

The channels are designed for single ended input or differential inputs, for sensors e.g. acceleration, yaw rate or potentiometer.

The negative input channel is high-impedance or can be adjusted up to DC +2,5V via the software.

The analogue data are passing a selectable filter (filter off, 18Hz, 20Hz or 200Hz) and an operational amplifier with gain selection (x0.5, x1.0, x2.0, x4.0 or x8.0) until reaching the AD converter. Then they will be computed in the processor electronic and obtained via CAN bus.

The offset calibration of the sensors is done by push button on the frontside or by software.

A special configuration software, running on PCs, is necessary to configurate the MBOX.
It is possible to choose e.g. the CAN Identifier, the filter- and gainselection, the offset calibration, or
the COM-Port.
